What is the CK OK program?
CK
OK is the first program in the United States to help scrapbookers by
establishing preservation guidelines and recognizing products that meet
those guidelines. For over eight months ,archivists Jeanne English and
Al Thelin (see sidebar) have researched and consulted with international
experts to compile a set of governing guidelines for safe scrapbooking
products. Adhesive, ink, paper and plastic products that meet these
stringent requirements are eligible for the CK OK Seal of Approval.
When you see the CK OK seal on a product, you'll know that it's met
industry accepted guidelines and can be used safely for preservation
purposes.
